Multicraft Maintenance Technician
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, multi0craft Maintenance Technicians work closely with all aspects of the manufacturing process from raw materials to finished product, supporting daily production activities in a high speed manufacturing environment. This is accomplished through effective troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic production equipment and facility systems. The work schedule is Monday - Friday rotating between first (7AM - 3PM), second (3PM - 11PM), and third (11PM - 7AM) shifts. Starting pay of $31.17-$33.92/hour depending on experience with shift premiums while on second and third shifts. Duties And Responsibilities
- PM equipment according to maintenance schedule. Document any issues found during PM and track in CMMS.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, install, and/or rebuild equipment and components including presses, coaters, ovens, conveyors, air compressors, bearings, motors, VFD's, PLC's (Allen Bradley and Danfoss), limit, switches, relays, etc.
- Maintain electrical systems up to 480v.
- Fabricate parts and custom machine guarding as needed.
- Develop standard operating procedures.
- Provide training for equipment operation.
- Lubricate and clean parts.
- Install, set up and operate all types of equipment and machine tools.
- Perform any dismantling, fitting or assembly work required for maintenance.
- Practice and reinforce safety practices and procedures at all times. Ensure LOTO, confined space, hot work permits, and OSHA regulations are followed.
- Participate on safety and KATA improvement teams.
- Perform other work which may be assigned by Supervisor.
- Keeps work area safe, clean, and organized.
- May be required to work in various departments and to perform other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous working experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
- Proven work experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and working with tools and machinery.
- Safety-oriented.
- Must be able to work rotating shifts.
- Must be able to work 12-hour shifts and/or overtime as needed.
- Mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic experience.
- Must provide basic hand tools.
Preferred Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Electronical, automation, and instrumentation experience. Ability to troubleshoot utilizing ladder logic.
- Ability to read blueprints, sketches, machine parts or specifications to determine type and dimensions of stock required.
- Experience with safety guards and proper use of hand and power tools,
- Welding/fabrication experience.
- Air compressor maintenance experience.
- Forklift operation experience.

Physical Requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, regularly required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms.

- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift/move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to hear and speak.
